I did post this previously in another thread about Webwise and moneysaving (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=903715&page=4), but thought it was also a site security issue so I will ask here too, if that's okay.
I'd be really interested to know what Martin and the MSE Team think about this Phorm/Webwise scheme, and of BT, Virgin and Talk Talk spying on all the posters here. Is the Team aware that (if what I read here is true http://www.inphormationdesk.org/) that moneysavers' ISPs and Phorm intend to intercept and/or change/forge the cookies this site sends to all visitors to this site?
Not only that, but every person with one of those 3 ISPs who signs up to this scheme and posts here will have every post they read and make here used to profile them in order to send them adverts.
Since I'm sure that Martin and the Team believe members' privacy and security is of paramount importance, I'd like to think they would be against this.
Any thoughts, Team?

If you are not paying for it, you're not the customer; you're the product being sold.

Quick bump as I see 56 reads but no replies.
Come on Team, any thoughts on this? This is very important to a lot of people and webmasters everywhere.
PS. Thread title should read 'if' not 'is'.Last ciggie - 28/01/2012

I've got to admit - I'm pretty concerned about this too. The company behind this software have a very dodgy background involving adware and rootkits - I don't trust them with my data whether I'm opted out or not. I've left my ISP over it but it seems that many people haven't realised just how bad this could be.0
