 Hey all you student savers how about a coca cola mini fridge at half price!!!---Just picked one up at Wilkos (Wilkinsons)for my offspring who's off to uni next week for only £19.99 reduced from £39.99 !!! .
It has a great 20lt capacity---- You will probably need to ring around as they are going fast! works on mains and 12v car so you can chill all the way too and from home/uni !!!
:j
hey hey just found out that if you log onto wilkos website (https://www.wilko.co.uk) it has a store locater and phone numbers so you can ring before you make the trip!

great - I am going to try to get one tomorrow.
Tried stores locally - but none left0 -
Is it one which can be left plugged in 24/7? I ask because I recently bought a cheap cooler from Dyas and found it said not to use it for more than 10 hours at a time because there was a fire risk!Signature removed for peace of mind0

The leaflet inside says " The box is not designed for continuous use,48 hours max use before 1 hour break"
Hope that helps.
Must say I am impressed with it.0 -
With ref to the "unplug for 1 hr in every 48 statement, with the money saved at half price, worth small investment in a 24hr plug in timer and set it to switch off for 1 hour in every 12 say and then you should be okay !!!0

:beer:I have a serving hatch in my bedroom. lol. It's next to the kitchen - old dining room. I just have to call out "get me a beer" and someone comes running.:rotfl:0

That does sound like a good idea, and I would recommend it because I suspect these things will get very hot in constant use, and you don't want to start a fire in your uni bedroom! Especially as I believe you're often not supposed to have one in your own room.The_Only_Homer_Simpson_UK wrote:With ref to the "unplug for 1 hr in every 48 statement, with the money saved at half price, worth small investment in a 24hr plug in timer and set it to switch off for 1 hour in every 12 say and then you should be okay !!!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
