What is the easiest/quickest way to get information on companies ex div dates, amounts due/payments etc?
Is there a website you can go to that will list ex-div dates etc?
or by sector say listing all banks or list div payouts high to low etc?

Financial Express give all that data on their paid for services. I dont know if they give it away free on their consumer site (Trustnet) though.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Digitallook. StepOne's ( from TMF ) spreadsheet is useful, too. Hemscott has basic info available for free - a subscription is required for some of the deeper stuff.0

I use Digitallook to list dividend yields. There is a good deal of flexibility so you can list yields by sector, index and on a historic or forecast basis. (e.g. click FTSE-100 link > "Constituents" tab > "Forecast" link (don't bother if you want historic yield) > "Div Yield" column).

www.advfn.com ... has that info. for free. You have to register and be warned they do send lots of promotional emails, but very useful in my opinion. Click on 'Financials' to find ex-dividend dates and dividend amounts.
