In Tay Nguyen for instance, almost every family has at least one set of gongs! The gongs are mainly used in offerings, rituals, wedding ceremonies, New Year’s festivities, agricultural customs and victory celebrations.
This month we have one 60cm nipple gong supplied by Samurai Music to give away. These traditional Vietnamese gongs produce a full, rich, resonating temple sound with subtle overtones. A striking mallet is also included.
