vehicle owner and insurance question?
hello to all.
i have been driving for over a decade.
I have bought a new car and not yet insured on it.
My previous car is with me and its in my name.
the missus wants to learn to drive and has just applied and received the provisional license threw the postand. I am thinking of passing my old car to her so she can learn in it and take lessons from a qualified instructor.
now my questions is can a provisional driver own and insure a car in there name as the main driver?

Hello mouk
I'll move your thread to the 'Motoring & Public Transport' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.

But some insurers may be a bit funny about it so you'll have to call around, and the insurance will go up as soon as they have passed.0
