What happens if car is stolen..

Hi
I am covered fully comp for my car, and this enables me to drive another persons car, but obviously 3rrd party only.
I am guessing that if i was to use another person's car, and it was stolen whilst I was in possesion, then the car would not be covered for theft?
Sorry if this is an obvious answer, just wondered where i would stand!?
thanks
