I had Samphire the other day and it looked like this. My fishmonger gave me some free to sample, quite salty but I thought it was nice, will try again - I recommend it.0

It was forced on me as a youngster - we used to pick on by the beach. Hated it then, and wouldn't eat it now, but it is supposed to be very good for you.
All I thought it ever tasted was vaguely salty.
