I've just been on the website, and it seems that Romeo and Juliet is now not showing in Victoria Square, Birmingham, but The Marriage of Figaro is. Oh well!
Great find - many thanks!0 -
Have I read the BP site wrong? DO you have to submit a film to get a ticket??0

Hello Boonana
Welcome to the MSE site.
You don't need a ticket to see the opera or ballet relayed live from the Royal Opera House in London. Simply turn up to your nearest venue which has the big screen.;)
I don't know whether this will happen in all areas but last year in Hull, ROH programmes were given to the audience, free of charge. The ROH programmes are very good quality and have photographs of the dancers/singers and a detailed account of the ballet or opera you're going to see.................and normally cost £5.00.;)

I went last year in Aberdeen and had a fab time. Took along a picnic and some blankets. We had glorious sunshine, unlike some of the rest of the venue.
Will be going again this year."A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0
