Try 123-reg Instant Site.0

Hostgator for hosting and godaddy/namecheap for domains unless you want .co.uk domains then as above 123 are good. Google them all for codes as you can get codes giving quite a bit off (I know godaddy have a code that discounts .com from $9.99 to $6.95!).0

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

I personally use ukreg.com for domain names (no hidden fees) and hostgator for webhosting (6 a month).
If youo have no web development experience you may get lost in all the techno stuff you have to do such as nameservers, ftp etc.
Your best bet is to try something like google sites ( its free ) or even wordpress.com and start a blog on that site.0 -

Craftster forums is based on Simplemachines which is free software. It comes with themes or you can download or create your own theme. Craftster blog is based on wordpress.
There are numerous other forum and blog software you can install to run your site. Places like 1&1 usually have a wide selection that you can install semi-automatically. For example MSE Forums I think use a customised version of vBulletin.
If you wanted your own theme and artwork creating you'd probably pay several hundred pounds to a graphic artist in India for a simple project.
If you find a site you really like there is often a link at the bottom to the site builder/designer.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
My OH's website is hosted by 1&1 (along with various e-mail accounts for the whole family). Her up and coming website is a wordpress site with a template that I'm modifying slowly (trying to learn php and not get confused with the programming language I use at work).
It's good, some of the templates are easy to modify, some are more difficult and some are nigh impossible (unless your a code monkey).
Easily controlled by the wordpress dashboard
:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0
