Wheelchair Rental For Holiday

I'm taking my mother-in-law away to france and holland for 5 days. Although she is able to walk she gets tired easily and is limited to walking short distances. I think taking a foldable wheelchair will be a good idea. Can anybody recomend a company that rents out wheelchairs to take on holiday?

I believe Boots might do it but check a couple of things first.

Make sure that the tyres a pumped up etc. before you go.
It's best if someone with a basic clue about these sort of things goes to pick it up, or gets it sorted before you need it.

Also make sure you adjust it before you go.
My MIL cannot bend her legs far so has the footrests down quite low.
I have had to flag down a handyman at a hotel and flutter my eyelashes to borrow his spanner to adjust the foot rests. Better to get it done before you go especially if she can't adjust her knees very well.

If you have a local shopmobility they may well do this also Red Cross are a good starting point. Both should have knowledge if not doing it themselves.

It never even occured to me to make sure it was well-adjusted etc before leaving I'll make sure we get that sorted before we leave
