Only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of any company in the Scottish & Newcastle group and Maven Wines group and any person who, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, should be excluded due to their involvement or connection with this promotion.
Complete the neck label and mail to the Promoter or alternatively enter online here. Entry limited to one per person.
Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third parties are invalid. Amended, defaced or photocopied entries are invalid. Promoter cannot accept responsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected or stolen entries. Entry indicates acceptance of terms and conditions.
Entries must be received by midnight on 31 May 2008.
First prize is a 10-day trip for two to New Zealand. First prize must be taken between 10 August and 25 August 2008. First prize includes return flights with Air New Zealand departing from London Heathrow, 10 nights’ hotel accommodation, VIP tickets to the Maven Whitianga Scallop Festival, tickets to the Maven Winemakers Dinner, a personal wine tour by Maven’s Chief Winemaker, entry to the Maori cultural experience, game fishing charter and all transport in New Zealand. Some meals and drinks will be provided. The prize winner is responsible for all other costs. Should the prize winner wish to commence travel earlier than the specified dates, any additional travel, accommodation and living costs will be borne by the prize winner. The prize winner is responsible for ensuring they and their companion have a valid passport and visa (if necessary). The companion must be over 18 years. The prize winner is responsible for purchasing appropriate travel insurance for the trip and activities involved.
There are 10 runner up prizes of one case of Maven wine (red/white mix) containing 6 bottles of 75 cl. Runner up prizes will be dispatched within 28 days of draw.
First prize winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all qualifying entries on 15 June 2008. Runner up prize winners will be the next 10 entries drawn at random from all qualifying entries on 15 June 2008.
The judge’s decision is final. Winners will be notified in writing within 28 days of 15 June 2008. Winners’ details will be available on this website from 15 June 2008. Alternatively send a stamped addressed envelope to the Promoter after 15 June 2008.
There is no cash or other alternative to these prizes in whole or in part. Prize is not transferable.
The winner will be required to participate in all required publicity, including any presentation ceremony.
The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
The promoter is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions.
We cannot guarantee that the event will be free from disruptions, failings or cancellations. We are not liable for such disruptions, failings or cancellations unless they are caused by our negligence. Any requests for refunds or compensation arising from them should be sent to the operator of the event. We can provide you with their details on request.
