Talk Talk Price Changes April/May 08

As to be expected Talk Talk have followed BT and increased their geographical call charges, and made some other changes.

UK Landline Calls increase from 15/5/2008

Chargeable daytime landline calls will change from 3p per minute to 3.9p per minute
Chargeable evening calls will change from 4.25p per call to 1.4p per minute with a 6 pence connection fee
Charges for inclusive calls after the inclusive period will be charged at 3.9p per minute

Mobile Extra Discount

This discount will change from applying to the total call charge to applying to the rate per minute

Call Rounding

Call rounding will change from rounding to the nearest half penny to rounding to the nearest penny

Paper Bill Charge from 17/4/2008

From 17th of April 2008 if you wish to receive your bill by post there will be a £1.25 charge on top of your monthly line rental. So ditching your paper bill is a little greener and saves you money. The change in your line rental will show up on your next bill.

Subscription Changes from 1/4/2008

For customers who have line rental with TalkTalk:
Talk 2 will reduce from £3.39 to £2.65
Talk 3 will reduce from £7.49 to £5.49

    Hopefully MSE will address the problem of the large rises faced by TalkTalk landline only customers as he has recently done with those on BT.
