I have got a letter this morning from Seasons holidays that reckons I've won a prize to the value of £3750 in the daily internet prize draw.
I have to call an 0800 number to authenticate the claim.....any of this ringing an alarm bell with anyone?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

wish they'd send us each the £3,750 we'd won - it would cost them a mint!"Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" Cerys Matthews0

We've had one too. Came recorded delivery this morning.
It did look good but five minutes on the web and we didnt even bother to call. Their website was really dodgy for a start but as soon as you put the company name in MSE the alarm bells really started ringing. you can see how people could be caught tho.0 -

I received the same letter!
it went to my moms address though so I spent a few days wondering what the recorded delivery letter was so was slightly dissapointed when I opened it.
as its freephone I might give them a call later and see what they say...0 -
I shredded it just to be on the safe side. Now it's hamster bedding!

I got one of those this morning too!!!They didnt actually send it recorded delivery though, they just stuck the middle section of a recorded delivery label onto the envelope before sending it ordinary pre paid business post, anyone can pick these up in the post office for free, they didnt actually pay for recorded delivery thats just part of the trick to make it look important and official.
Basically the £3750 "prize" is the initial management/membership fee of their timeshare holiday. We all know how much those things cost!!!"Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
I e-mailed them just to check the additional costs involved in the "PRIZE" and this is part of the reply;
Thank you for your email. The £3750.00 is a one of fee to purchase
membership and then you pay a annual maintenance fee which is £367.00(2008
rate)
Wow!!!,the PRIZE costs you £367 this year and god only knows how much for each and every subsequent year until 2067 or for your lifetime by the looks of info on the web site, you them have travelling costs and insurance etc."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
I got one of these last week. I thought i had won £3750 for a few seconds! Didn't ring and claim....I wrote a snotty note on it and sent it back "return to sender". It's not on them doing that to people!0
