www.playaholics.comMy son (8) likes this one. You play games and collect P-Nuts, then "spend" them on prize draw entry competitions. He says it's good fun. Here I go again on my own....0

I think it's really great that there're so many safe sights that kids can play on with supervision. They need computer literacy like they need actual literacy these days. My niece is horrified that we didn't have computers at my primary school and only 1 at my high school.
I suppose it's like me being surprised as a kid that my mum didn't have a tv.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
My class used to love

and there's a whole load more learning sites on here.

They are actually good fun, even though it's a site to help teachers, but you have to wade through them to find what you want. you also can be assured that the sites they link to are safe to view for an 11 year old.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Mine liked CD ROM's with their favourite TV characters in, and Dorling Kindsley ones. They do toddlers ones where you have to do things like match pictures, and associate 2 things like toothbrush and toothpaste. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Thanks for the websites. My son and I have already spend hours on them.“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson
