Shopping on Easter Monday in France/Belgium

Coming back Easter Monday from Netherlands via Belgium, Holland, and finally Dunkirk.

Any chance of being able to stock up on booze anywhere?

I get the impression everywhere will be closed

  • May day is really big holiday in France and almost everything closes but Easter doesn't seem to be that big of a deal so you might be lucky.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Eastenders will be open. Wouldn't normally recommed it but most shops
etc will be shut. Check it out on www.eastenders-calais.com . Might be a few others Boozers and possibly Majestic.

    What's wrong with Eastenders?

I'd prefer Dunkirk if possible, that's where we are returning from.

We were in France last Easter and most things were closed on Easter Monday. Have checked Carrefour, Euro-cite and they are open from 9am until 8pm on monday. Sorry nothing other than normal hours listed for Dunkirk. Most small shop will be closed but as already mentioned Eastenders, and possibly Calais wines will be open
