To celebrate Going Green Month we've joined forces with Bennetts to give you the chance to go green in the kitchen.

We are giving all Behind The Mic members an exclusive chance to win a new energy-efficient Bosch fridge and washing machine - a package worth about £750.

Both appliances are rated "A" which means they are "green machines" and are the most energy-efficient.

How electricity gets used in the kitchen:
There may seem little you can do to reduce your electricity usage. You need the fridge on, washing needs doing and Sunday roasts can’t be rushed.
So watch out for the energy-efficiency rating given on electrical goods. The most efficient are A rated.
If your current appliance is rated B to G, it can use up to twice the electricity of an A product. These costs can stack up. A fridge freezer can last 10 years or more and expect washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers to last more than 6 years
