Terms and conditions
The promoter of this competition is The Disney Store Limited, 3 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, W6 9PE, England ("Promoter"). By entering this promotion you agree to the requirements set out in the promotional material and the following Terms and Conditions:

1. This competition is open to all residents of the UK (including Channel Islands and Isle of Man) aged 16 years or under excluding employees of The Disney Store Limited, its associated companies, agents, contractors and other persons professionally connected to the promotion or any of their family members. Entries by agents or third parties will not be accepted.
2. Only one entry per person is allowed. To enter the competition an entrant must submit a photo of themself posing or dressed like a pop star. The methods of entry are.
   • Complete an entry form, (which are available in-store or can be down loaded from www.makemeapopstar.co.uk) which must be signed by a parent or guardian, and post the form together with the entrant's photograph into one of the special competition post-boxes in-store in the UK Disney Stores; or
   • Register for the competition on-line at www.makemeapopstar.co.uk, entrants must provide a parent or guardian's e-mail address. The parent or guardian will be e-mailed to confirm the entrant has permission to enter the competition. Once permission has been received the entrant will be e-mailed a unique URL which will enable them to submit a digital photograph on-line.
   No purchase necessary for entry. No charges are levied by the Promoter on any entry, but entrants will be responsible for any costs connected to their chosen method of entry.
3. Entrants must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to enter this competition. Disney reserves the right to invalidate entries if the appropriate permission is or was not provided. Entries may be invalidated if they contain any obscene, offensive, indecent, violent or hateful content or if they infringe the rights of third parties, including but not limited to, their copyright. Entries are non-returnable. Disney does not accept responsibility for late, misdirected, incomplete, lost, illegible or invalid entries.
4. The competition is open from midnight 18 February 2008. All entries for the promotion must be received no later than midnight 31 March 2008.
5. The winner will be picked by a judging panel in the UK and the judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The winning entry will be selected by judges based on the criteria of style, originality and personality. The winner, or their parents or guardian, will be notified in the first instance by post, e-mail or telephone by 15 May 2008. If no response is received within 28 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner and the Promoter shall have no liability in respect of the entry initially selected. The prize winners should allow at least 4 months from 15 May 2008 for fulfilment of their prizes. Arrangements for fulfilment to be agreed with the individual winner.
6. The photographs submitted by the competition entrants may be displayed on the www.makemeapopstar.co.uk website and it is a condition of entry that consent is given to such use.
7. There is 1 (one) first prize which consists of a one day Pop Star experience including:
   • Return standard class rail or air travel to London for the winner and a parent or guardian.
   • 1 (one) night's hotel accommodation in London and breakfast for winner and parent or guardian.
   • Private car to chauffeur between locations on day.
   • A £500 shopping spree at Disney Store Oxford Street.
   • Hair and make-up session for winner only.
   • 2 hour recording session in recording studio.
   More details to be provided to winner upon notification.
8. Prize does NOT include insurance and should be arranged by the parent/legal guardian at their own discretion.
9. The winner must be accompanied by an adult during the trip. It is the responsibility of the parent/legal guardian to make arrangements with the child's school in respect of any absence due to the Pop Star experience.
10. The winner's name and town of residence can be obtained by sending a SAE to Disney Store Marketing, 3 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, London, W6 9PE. Do not send entrants to this address.
11. Entrants accept that if they win, the Promoter will have the right, without any additional payment or permission, to use their name, age, town of residence and likeness for the purposes of announcing the winner of this competition and for related promotional purposes.
12. All prizes are non transferable. No cash alternative is available for any prize. In the unlikely event that a prize should become unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right in their absolute discretion to substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater monetary value.
13. As far as is permitted by law, the Promoter, their associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond the Promoter's control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.
14. All personal information about entrants collected for the purpose of this competition may be shared with our agents and with other Disney entities and / or their agents for the purposes of running the competition and so that prizes may be provided. Any personal information provided by entrants will not be retained after the prize has been awarded.
