Help - Sore Finger !

Hi All,
Just before Christmas I fell over whilst ice skating and bent my middle finger back !!
It was a bit swollen and painfull, and I assumed that it would be ok after a week or so.
10 weeks later it is still the same - the finger is still swollen at the knuckle and is very sore when I bend it (although I can fully bend the finger).
Does anybody have any hints / tips on what I should do (I don't want to go to my GP or the hosapital for something so minor).
Thanks fo any help.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.Signature removed for peace of mind0
