Hi,
Welcome to the Benefits and Tax Credits board!
You will find plenty of people willing to give links and contacts or advice based on personal experience.
Just one thing as it would be good to have this as a friendly board, if you have a complaint about a poster (including Boardguides) or about a particular thread or post, please report this to [Removed by Forum Team] . This would include aggressive, personal and judgemental posts and ones that suggest or encourage fraud or illegal ways to obtain benefits.
If you want to discuss benefits policy, please post your thoughts on the Discussions board.
If you want to discuss this board or have any other forum policy issues you would like to air, please do that on the Forum Policy & Rules discussion board.
No-one reads all the posts on any board so it is up to us to keep things pleasant and report posts that aren't.
On a personal note, please don't assume any post that is deleted has been done by me! There are several members of the Forum Team who can and have deleted posts. They can also be contacted through [Removed by Forum Team]
Thanks for your help.
Please note: Legislation is constantly changing. Though some contributors have checked current law, some are guessing and you are advised to check with an agency such as a Citizens Advice Bureau and not take things written here as fact. Even things that have been checked one day might not be correct on the next.
