Average household bills water/elec/gas/ council tax

My partner and I are thinking of moving out soon and are trying to calculate costs to see what we can afford. Can anyone give us advice on what the average amount is to pay on household bills? E.g. Council tax, elec, gas, water and any others i've not thought of, tv license etc. THANKS in advance

Oh and if it makes any difference to house size and area, it will be 3 bed in Swindon, new build.

rough guides:
tax 1200 pa
tv 135 pa
water 450 pa

gas 40 pm
lecky 40 pm
phone 30 pm
BB 10 pm

Pretty close to ours...
We dont have gas, heating and water both elec on economy7.
New 2 bed house, so fairly effecient id imagine.

Elec costs us about £50 pm, but rapidly rising

Then theres contents insurance (if you choose to have it)

aye theres house insurance too.
ours is 239 pa., inc contents. but that can be very variable according to your circumstances and postcode.

seems about right as we budget 300 quid for essential bills, per month, to keep the house going.
(we have no mortgage).

hi, i need some help!

my boyfriend is in the army and will shortly be moving to Catterick, as we are not yet married we can't live in married quarters but are really desperate to move in together, we have found a small one bed flat for around 350pm and are just wondering how much gas, electricity, council tax and any other bills i cant think of at the moment will cost! if it helps we will both be at work 5 days a week and in evenings
