Can anyone recommend a good hosting company for running a sharepoint system.
I'm looking to have a least one sharepoint system running, but if it was cost effective, I'd choose a hosting company that could run multiple ones on the same server, provided they were all secure and non-cross links/logins between the two.
I guess the host will need to be running Win Server 2003.
Also I'd need it to be secure and reliable, mapped to a domain, or able to have each sharepoint service mapped to a separate domain for separate projects, kept up to date by the hosting company with security patches and backed up. I'm quite happy to manage the sharepoint stuff, but don't really want to spend much time messing with the Windows server side.
Finally if it can be a monthly contract rather than yearly, more the better!
Any thoughts, recommendations etc?

I'm interested in the same thing. Are you after WSS or MOSS as there's a big cost difference?
I'm also looking for a hosted Exchange solution for around ten users? Any ideas on that front? If it looks expensive I'll just go and buy a server and set everything up on there. Can I help?0 -
Have a word with the guys at Titan Internet. I've got a couple of Windows servers with them and they have always been on the ball for us.
I know they do hosted Exchange as well.0 -
Still looking and now actively reviewing before choosing.
Found many more are now offering the service, including:
1&1 http://order.1and1.co.uk/xml/order/Sharepoint
and http://www.webfusion.co.uk/sharepoint/
(although the three different packages from webfusion aren't very clearly explained)
Any updated thoughts and opinions?0 -
I'm down to comparing One&One and WebFusion SharePoint hosting packages, both around £15 + VAT per month, webfusion offers unlimited users, but the support isn't direct to a person, it's via a support website thread system.
Any opinions between the two hosts? I'll pick one or the other!0
