Nobel playwright and screenplay writer Harold Pinter provides the ammunition for a star studded cast at London's Comedy Theatre.
Hidden truths are revealed and sexual power games exposed in these two funny, dark and deeply moving plays. The Lover & The Collection star Stardust's Charlie Cox, Gina McKee (Atonement and Notting Hill), together with Richard Coyle (TV’s Coupling) and theatre legend Timothy West.
The Lover goes behind closed doors where a couple's desires are unlocked, unzipped and undressed. Richard Coyle and Gina McKee are the husband and wife who use the fantasy of infidelity to spice up their romance. However, the charade spills over into real life. Meanwhile in The Collection, a confession of adultery leads to an intriguing battle of suspicion, bluff and jealousy. Timothy West and Charlie Cox join Coyle and McKee, in an explosive comedy that centers on two couples who fall victim to suspicion and jealousy when a one-night stand involving two of them is exposed.
