After 8 months of growing my chilli plants from seed, they now have actual chilli fruits on them! :j I'm so excited and figured who better to share my excitement with than my fellow MSEers?!
I have 27 chillis over the two plants, with more expected over the next couple of days, so have a feeling I will shortly be inundated with chillis so any ideas of what to do with them would be lovely!

What to do with them? Send them to me, silly
I'm starting again from seed. I left my last one out for the summer and forgot it was there, poor thing. No more fresh chillies until next year for me.
But lucky you!
Let's, see... chillied scrambled eggs... chilli on toast... chill and cornflakes... chillied lancashire hot pot... chill and custard...Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. They freeze very nicely
I freeze mine separately on a tray in the ice compartment and then bag them - this keeps them fairly separate for later useTANSTAAFL !0 -

I fancied trying to make some home made jalapeno poppers with mine when I grew some a couple of years ago. Never got round to it though:rolleyes:. Have they turned red yet?0

I've frozen them as well and they last at least 6 months. I also threaded them on a stong cotton and made wreathes which looked good and after they had dried (slowly) they also lasted for several months.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z Able Archer0

Rave - they're still green, only about an inch long at the moment, so they've still got a little while before I can pick them!
Was thinking about making chilli jam for Xmas pressies - has anyone got a recipe?0
