I got this email in reply to my entry:Subj: RE: Unregister<COMMENT><comment></COMMENT></COMMENT>Hi JoanneHappy to comply - could you let me have your site user name so that I can disable to email?ThanksSusan
But I hadn't put anything in my subject box! So I replied saying I had entered a competition, wasn't even registered with the site and therefore didn't want to unregister. And then I got this:Hi JoanneYou seem to have circumvented our procedures. You should only have been able to enter the competition by registering on site. No problems anyway I will keep your entry in the draw. If you are not registered you will not receive any mailings from us any way.All the bestSusan
So am wondering if there are T&Cs somewhere that state that only members of the site can enter the comp. Anyone else get similar email? If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -
You can only view the competition on the website if you are registered so I presume you do have to be registered to enter.
It asks you to add your username to the email as well.0 -
joho it was because you needed to put your forum name on the email.it is mentioned in the 1st post at the end, also i included the link to be able to reg,at least shes kept you in the draw glReplies to posts are always welcome, if they are done in the correct manner.
