We have one pair of tickets to see Simphiwe Dana plus a cd to listen to afterwards.
Simphiwe Dana
The Southbank Centre welcomes South African singer Simphiwe Dana in February. This talented performer swept the boards at the South African Music Awards last April.
She has toured the world extensively, becoming something of an ambassador for South Africa and its music. Her vocal range is incredible and her songs thoughtful and mature with a unique progressive self-styling.
The Concert
Simphiwe will be performing from her new, much lauded album, The One Love Movement on Bantu Biko Street. It draws together traditional African sounds, powerful political lyrics and a strong jazz line into a thrilling performance.
Her music has placed her firmly on the throne as the leading light of South African music.
