Getting Messed About - talk talk & BT

Made the big mistake of moving to talk talk almost 2 years ago
the adsl has never worked properly, bills have been incorrect and the phone line has had problems too

Ive been trying for over 60 days to get the line moved back to BT but talk talk seem to mess it up each time
I did ring BT some time back & they said OK we can do it but you will be stuck with us for 12 months.
Talk talk told me I dont need to so I didnt bother but as talk talk have failed to transfer it twice I just rung BT & now they want £125 +vat to reconnect me
I know my adsl is in talktalks gear in the exchange but BT have been sent out twice to sort a fault

anyone know how to get around this???

I rang another operator & they just got onto it and got it done
I asked of there was a charge and they said no

I had a similar thing years ago when I lived in an area where there was BT & cable
both wanted a fee but I said the other offered to do it for free & they they both did

    Good news.

Now you're (almost) back with BT, you may be tied to them for 12 months for your line rental but you can opt to use a CPS and/or indirect access calls providers as soon as the line is operational - so please click the 'HERE' link in my signature below for some suggestions on how to save on your calls costs.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
