Not sure about the Dr's, maybe call them or the NHS direct and ask, or try posting in the thread pin suggested.

We went to Dubai a few years ago (with child of 5) and none of us had any vaccinations. The place is fab! Don't hire a car, there are millions of taxis and only charged us £1 for any length of journey. No-one walks anywhere as the heat is so intense, we went in April and it was 40 degrees but plenty air cond in shops etc. Dubai is very modern, as is Abu Dhabi with fantastic coloured glass buildings. Must visit all the soukes for bargains and people watching. Eating out is cheap if you avoid the 5* hotels but you must pay a visit to the Burj Al Arab (banana looking hotel) to see its o.t.t. opulence! Of course being a 7-star hotel you'll pay a fair bit for a meal, but just go for a look around and celeb spotting if you're on a budget. If you like water parks, must visit Wild Wady, its pricey but best one if I've ever been too. Fantastic rides. No walking uphill after you've slid down, there's a pulley system where you sit in the rubber ring and it takes you to the top of the ride again! Great news when its so hot. Go on one of the river boats when it starts to get dark, its magical with all the twinkling lights and the people in their white robes. Dress code is conservative, no shorts or short dresses etc. As its a muslim country, you'll hear lots of chanting coming from the mosques. This can be a bit noisy as they start very early in the morning so if you're a light sleeper, take ear plugs! We loved the place and can't wait to go back. Hope you enjoy it as much.

They won't tell me! I need to discuss it with the nurse next week, call your GP and ask 'em.
