Rendering Outside Wall

I'm going to try my skills at rendering the back of the office wall, outide. Only 2mtrs square ish, so even I won't be able to mess up, completely!!

Is it worth Unibonding the surface first, or is soaking it OK, just using water?

& should I just do 1 coat, or a couple. Using sand cement, mix 5-1 ratio - if that's correct!!

Thanks!

VB

pva the wall 1st,then put a 10mm coat on first and make scratch marks all over it,let it set(1day) then apply the finnishing coat.
Go to your builders merchant and get rendering sand.

Thought that, too, but needs doing before the other bits of the garden can be done, so...fingers crossed!!
