Halifax 3 month fixed saver down to 6.1%(5.2% @ 13/02/08)AER

Looks like Halifax has just dropped there fixed rate web saver(3 Month term) to 6.1%AER :mad:

Though their 6 month fix is still on offer at 6.8%.

Glad I did my 2 year fix when I did, that's now down at 6%.

Out of interest, I just closed my websaver with them, and when asked to give a reason I said something to the effect of "rates just not competetive, so I'm going to get more than 1% extra AER from a competitor"

You never know, they might take the hint
