Hi everyone and Happy New Year to everyone. After reading the original thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=604829 here is a list of the people that have said they are coming and a meeting point for Sat 19 Jan. As ever anyone is welcome to come along even if you don't wanna advertise your attendance. I'm travelling from Scotland and on the Sunday I am transiting onto Portsmouth for business and could only offer a one-way lift down from the Glasgow area v.early Sat morning.

    Lol.....I was hoping everyone was drunk when we were talking about that and had forgotten! :rotfl:

    Although actually, I would quite enjoy it!! :D It's accomodation that's the problem really, as our house is tiny :o (But the garden is big, with plenty of room for a bbq and beer party if the weather is okay. Just not sure what we would do if it rained).

    Oooh, maybe I could get one of those marquee thingies??

    Same as any other venue I guess. Either hotels or trips back home. All depends on how many...

    not long now :j train tickets booked & hotel booked (thanks to my room mate sarah) just the whole getting there and meeting all of you lot (the bit i am scard of the most :rotfl:) but i will be there. My train pulls into new street at 11.57am then i shall find sarah somewhere in the station and then we shall come and find all of you. If you here us shouting 'lenny where are you' You know we are on our way ;) cant wait two weeks to go :j

    I know where the Shakespeare is and it's a little bit fiddly to get to from New Street (unless you know New Street well). This being the case, PM me to swap numbers (don't worry I'm not a psycho axe murder - honest gov!) and let me know when you all arrive in Brum. I will then meet you at New Street Station and guide you to the comfort of the bar (which was the first non smoking bar in Brum - even before the smoking ban!)
