TPE Advance Singles - 25% off!

Options
What's the deal?

Transpennine Express is offering 25% off all of its new TPE advance singles throughout January, for travel up to 28th February. The company operates routes across the north, and has recently invested millions in a fleet of new 'class 185' trains.

How to Book

Simply visit http://www.tpexpress.co.uk/specialoffer.asp. Fares are available across the majority of the TPE network, and offer sizeable savings against the standard fares. For example, with the offer, standard class singles between York and Manchester start from £4.50, with first class starting at £6.75. The flexible fares for this journey are £20 for standard and £50 for first, meaning there are some excellent savings to be had. Other examples of bargain fares include:

Manchester Piccadilly-Edinburgh Waverley from £7.50 (or £14.25 in first)
Middlesbrough-Leeds from £6.00 (or £9.00 in first)
Liverpool Lime Street-Scarborough from £11.25 (or £17.25 in first)

Ts and Cs
  • Tickets must be booked by 1800 on the day before travel
  • Tickets are refundable up to 1800 on the day before travel (but subject to a £10 admin fee!)
  • You must travel on the train on which you are booked, otherwise you will be subject to a full open single to your destination
  • However, changes to your travel plans are allowed up to the departure time shown on your ticket. Please note that you will be asked to pay the difference between the original price, and the new ticket price, plus a GBP10.00 administration charge
  • If collecting the tickets on the 'fast ticket' machines, you must have the card with which you paid
  • No railcard discount available
Tip

If in possesion of a Young Person's Railcard, it can be cheaper to not use this offer, and instead purchase a Student Getaway ticket with your railcard. If doing this, visit the TPE homepage (www.tpexpress.co.uk) and use the booking engine on the right hand side, not the one quoted above.
