It is xmas week. However i am still running this thread. No one is obliged to join but feel free if you want to

Last weeks thread ~ http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=637149Good afternoon lovely DFWs
Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.
Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

Happy Christmas PAPNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I only spent £19.01 (penny is very important! :rotfl:) from a budget of £50 - mainly due to some lovely generous friends who I went out with and wouldn't let me pay for anything!!
I'll say £10 for this week although I don't expect to spend much at all.
Have a great week everyone xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Well I failed miserably...came in at £44.20 - should have been £34.20 but I topped up my DH's phone by accident & then still had to top mine up -costing me £20 instead of £10!!!!
Also got a great, unmissable bargain.....went to Debenhams & their sale had kinda started, saw a lovely winter coat which will be perfect for DD next year....on the 50% off rail. Went to get the price checked at the till but it came up at the original price (£15) - said it was on the sale rack (there was more than one of them there) so she went to check....came back saying it was on the 70% off rack (incorrectly put there by staff!!!) but she honoured it - got it for £4.50!!!!
So if I'd not bought that...& not messed up the top-ups:rolleyes: - I would have just been under budget by 30p!!!!:rotfl:
Never mind.....will not be in this week PAP as don't think I'll get on MSE much over christmas! Have a great Christmas & a FAB birthday (I'm sure we both will!!!!!!!:D )

Hi everyone :santa2:
Well I budgeted £30 last week but I factored into that some Ebay items that I needed to post but didn't really think of the fact that I have already been paid for that so it doesn't really count  .
Anyway, I spent £17.65 on postage in total but received £18 for it so made a little profit there.
Other than that, I spent £1.90 on a sandwich and £2 on a couple of big bottles of Pepsi on Friday night. I also put £10 worth of petrol in my car yesterday and put £1.56 towards a TGI meal as my fiance didn't have any change (he paid the other £20 plus a £10 Leisure voucher I had so I can't really complain.).
We were going on our works Christmas meal on Friday but we all decided that we were skint so we just took half day instead :rotfl: .
Therefore, my total spend last week was £15.46 :T .
Really chuffed with that.
I don't reckon I will have to spend much this week. Will be a NSD today as my mum is taking me out for lunch and I don't have anything else I need to buy for Christmas. I think the most I will have to do is put some more petrol in my car towards the end of the week.
I will therefore budget just £10 for the week and try to be really really good!!
Have a lovely Christmas week everyone and I hope Santa brings you all something nice :xmassmile

Been very rubbish these last few weeks-spent rather a lot... Going to start being good again this week. With Christmas and my birthday this week it could be expensive, but I'm going to set myself £50 and stick to it!:heartpuls

Whoops, I'm a bit late. Its not good news either, after sending a couple of parcels I spent £26.75.
I'll go for £20 this week. Merry Christmas to you all!

Spent about £30 in total..... most of it on food for work, cuz by the time I got back afetr doing 12 hr days, all I wanted to do was play with my son then go to bed..... so no time to make food
I'll do £10 again this week, and hopefully I'll do it this time.
Merry Christmas PaP and everyone!
