Last weeks thread ~ http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=625327Good afternoon lovely DFWs
Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.
Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!
Moozie x
welcome all... I hope you have had a great week and kept it low... and are you ready to be turned red/green? Everyone can join, just post a target in keeping with you/your debts/your spends, don’t worry about everyone else’s budgets. Then each day post on the daily spends thread and add them all up ready to post the following Saturday. The challenge runs from Sunday to the Friday... everyone welcome... please dont worry if you have gone over budget and will be turned red it happens... to me more than anyone else.

Hi PAP - I'm unusually very green this week! Only spent £16.56 on bits and pieces :j
Next week.. ummm... I'll say £50 as it's payday on Tuesday and I have a couple of nights out and things to buy, hopefully will keep it lower than that though
Good luck everyone for this week! xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
hi all and welcome back
. Another week... my lord they are going so fast... new year soon :j.
Me i spent £42.44 this week  cant really defend myself as i spent it on extras and a treat for me as this week i found out i couldnt treat myself on my birthday . I know a feable reason but hey ho... thats my reason. This week i will say £10 again because thats what i have budgetted however i will add 30p to that as thats all i have left in my purse. I am hoping to withdraw my weekly spends only for my crickets (thursday) and then save all the rest ~ after all if i have no cash i cant spend it can i :rotfl: well thats the theory ~ have a great week all :j0 -
I have £2.20 left from last week, so with a spend of £27.80, I'm in the green.
£30 for me again this week please.
I hope you bought yourself something good PAP if it's instead of a birthday treat.0 -

evening cranky, well i was 'supposed' to be buying myself my new digi cam @ £110 on my birthday (31st). The one i have now is nearly 4 years old and falling to pieces. However there is no way i can afford it so i am bringing out another one of my money boxes to save for it. So i brought myself a knit your own monkey kit @ £14.99. However i can use the pattern again and again to sell on my website :j so really i was only £2.45 over budget this week :rotfl:0 -
