Hey guys
After unveiling the tiffany ring in new york she said yes, so now in true moneysaving spirit we are looking to get married abroad.
Ideally it would be a church do, but abroad i think could be cheaper and we will get away with leaving some of the rellies at home.
Anyone who has been married abroad, please post sites you have found useful or have booked from, afterall you cant beat a recommendation!

Congratulations, Tom!
I got married in Prague at the Old Town Hall in May this year and booked it all through www.pragueweddings.com. They were supremely professional all the way through the process and the big day went off as smooth as a baby's bum. This space has been intentionally left blank0 -
Hi,
We got married 2 years ago in Barbados on the beach. To be honest it wasnt a luxury hotel but we were on a budget and didnt want to spend thousands.
The staff were all brilliant . Barbados was good in that you could walk around without hassle. We had no complaints and loved it there.
You can read about the hotel itself in the link below ( mines 2 years ago, same screen name)

We cut costs by booking a normal holiday then dealing with the hotel direct for room upgrades and then the wedding package. We booked the photographer from the internet. Im sure you could book this way wherever you decide to stay and get married.
Get a weddings abroad brochure for ideas then try book it on your own much cheaper.
We have been to Thailand since and loved it there too, could you look into this as a wedding destination? ( its cheaper than barbados)
If you need any more info just post back.
MarkOn the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -
Congrats Tom. Cant give you any advice on "marrying abroad " but Madrid would be fab for when WE go on the stag do

In fact, now I think about it. If you are a left footer (Scottish phrase;)) Goa has lots of chapels as they are a predominantly Catholic region of India. We stayed in Holiday Inn Mobur Beach which was very nice 4* beach resort.. You will save a fortune on the wedding ring too, gold jewelry is half the price of UK and very good quality. Combine that with savings when getting your teeth done (if needed) and its like the holiday is free:D0

fantastic, i like the stag do idea and the fact that in my wedding shots I can have teeth as white as a fridge door!0
