BARCLAYCARD 0% FOR LIFE SUBSCRIBERS URGENT NOTE:

If you subscribe to the charity paypal subscription for this card – please please check your statements. Paypal can be unreliable and cancel your subscription, I’ve just been emailed by someone who didn’t notice there’s was cancelled 5 months ago and has been paying interest. Please be careful.

One other common question is how to change the subscription date.

It's quite simple really - just cancel your existing subscription to Paypal and then set up a new one here. Always make sure you buy something for £1 in the intervening month to be sure though.

A few years ago I set up a Paypal account, then they wanted copies of my bank and credit card statements. At that stage I told them to get stuffed, but they persisted, so I asked why they needed then and what physically would happen to that information. They came back with the usual "confirmation of your identity" crap, and the information will "only" be stored on their server. Having worked in IT I know security is a joke, one push of a button and the database can be on it's way to anywhere in the world outside the reach of UK and Western "data protection" (another joke) laws. So I replied that they will have to wait until the Sun goes nova and the earth is incinerated, so have a nice life.

Be very wary with any personal financial information. Needless to say to this day I never ever use Paypal and never will.
