Last weeks thread ~ http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=600031Good afternoon lovely DFWs
Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.
Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!
Moozie x
welcome all... I hope you have had a great week and kept it low... and are you ready to be turned red/green? Everyone can join, just post a target in keeping with you/your debts/your spends, don’t worry about everyone else’s budgets. Then each day post on the daily spends thread and add them all up ready to post the following Saturday. The challenge runs from Sunday to the Friday... everyone welcome... please dont worry if you have gone over budget and will be turned red it happens... to me more than anyone else.

Hi
Our spends were quite low this week as we havent been too well. I managed to get quite a few items on Ebay and have sold alot too.
This week I am aiming to spend under £20. I also want to list another 20 items on Ebay and clear through some paperwork. I have 3 hospital visits and a nurse coming in daily for jabs so shouldnt be going anywhere apart from that..well maybe if I feel better:D
Hugs to all.

I was down for £54.50 and I still have £32.21 left. I did have my hair cut for the first time in over a year, but OH paid for that as a christmas present.
I'll go for £50 again this week please. I'm really pleased with how reading the posts and taking part in this forum has kept me focused this week.0 -
Parking, bridge, £4 towards car insurance for Thur, so £6.10 - woop.
This week...well I'm counting Saturday too so £12.30 needed, so £15 this week please PAPNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Ok I am new to this so going to go with £20.00 as always go to the pub on a fri lunch but will chose a cheaper meal. I would say I would normally spend around £30.00 so this will be an improvment.
:beer:Just starting to face up to my debts.
Aim for December is to just try and get through without running up anymore debts at this expensive time. Also going to spend my time off over xmas working out a plan for next year.
Would like to be debt free by 30 ( 3 years to go)

Well I was rubbish this week - set myself a limit of £20 but blew it completely by going to the pub on Wednesday. All down hill from there. I'm sure that in the end I must have spent about £60:eek: - and that's without the car being fixed after BFs crash.
So this week I'm going to be ultra strict with myself and set a limit of £10 but I'm hoping for change!Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on
:j NOW DEBT FREE!!!! :jI try to take life one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once

Hi well I said £10 for last week and have come in at £5.61. all however on food bits at work as failed to get a decent pack up every day - must do better.
Right its pay day this week so will keep it at £10 and see if I can do better and then maybe I'll lower it to £7.50 next week. Def has helped me think twice before buying this week0 -
Bother - I spent £108 this week
I have only got two (plus Wayne's) Christmas presents to buy now!!! meal out on Thursday cost more than I anticipated £30 more), plus I've bought some (unnecessary) but very pretty Chrimbo card crafty things (£40:eek: - it would have been cheaper to by ready made cards:D )
Can I set next weeks budget at £50?
