moozies weekly challenge ~ w/c 18th november 2007

Options
Good afternoon lovely DFWs

Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.

Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

welcome all... I hope you have had a great week and kept it low... and are you ready to be turned red/green? Everyone can join, just post a target in keeping with you/your debts/your spends, don’t worry about everyone else’s budgets. Then each day post on the daily spends thread and add them all up ready to post the following Saturday. mumzy it includes anything you spend in a week what you havent budgetted for. So for example people who take part have a budget of £10 for shopping however after they have been each top up of say milk will come out of this challenges money... yes cigs are included if you buy them. Anything you buy day to day is included even if its just a 10p bar of chocolate. So set your target resonably :D

Last week budgeted £50 and had £20 left in my purse this morning:j I contributed to 4 leaving collections, bought petrol for the car and bought a shop's takeaway (asda indian meal deal)!

Can I go for £50 again next week (one birthday and two Chrimbo pressies that I know of). A lot of leaving collections at work at the moment though:( but hopefully I'll not need to contribute to more. Don't get me wrong, I want to contribute to those I care about, but often find out that they've transferred to a different ward (within the same rotation at the same hospital)!!! I only contribute to those that are leaving the hospital now who have contributed to teaching!

  • Right pap, I've been absent for about 6 weeks, due to family commitments, and helping dd move into her new home. So can I join in again, please. I'll break back in gently and try for £30.00 this week, including my petrol.

  • Right - I have been very bad lately and have fallen off the NSD wagon big style.
So in a bid to get back on track for year end will be signing up for this challenge.
    Put me down for £10.
Have nothing planned for this week and working 6 days so should be ok as no real chance to go out.
