How to change $ to pound sign on my new keyboard

New keyboard has only a dollar sign! Is there a way I can change it to a pound sign???

  Control panel/region,language options/select English. XP installs by default US keyboard even when you select the option UK you then have to remove the US one.

  Sorry Shrek but when I turned back to add or remove page, USA not showing only United Kingdom. Have I done something wrong?

  In the control panel there should be an icon named "regional and language options", assuming you are using XP. What Os are you using?
