My Daughter ordered her wedding cake from M&S. When it came to picking up the cake on the appointed day she was told by an uninterested staff member that it wasn't there and to try again tomorrow.
My daughter was concerned as she was told she had to pick it up a week before so that the cake could breath.
The next morning she received a call from a member of staff who was really apologetic stating that she had been away sick and was in charge of all cake orders usually. Because my daughter had been mucked around she said the cake would be couriered to our house that afternoon and because of the hassle it would be free of charge.
Cant say fairer than that. :T
