To celebrate Diwali and Guy Fawkes, cheap override providers 1pminute and 4cheapcalling are offering special deals. Until 9 Nov you can call any UK mobile for 1p/minute (usually this is up to 15p/min). Plus between 7 & 9 Nov you can call India for only 0.5p/min (usually this is around 2p/min or even 25p with BT).
- Call India for 0.5p/minute
BT charges up to 25p/min to call India, yet use an override provider and you can usually call for pennies without changing your landline. Yet on 7-9 Nov you can call for even less at just 0.5p/minute as override provider 4cheapcalling have a special deal. Simply dial the access number 0844 205 60 40, which is billed to your normal number at 0.5p/min and then dial the full international number including international codes. Full details on how this works in the Article: Cheap International Calling. - Call UK mobiles for 1p/min
While most phone companies charge up to 15p/min to call mobiles; the normal MoneySaving route lets you do it at 6p/min without changing phone provider. Yet from Mon to Fri this week (5 to 9 Nov), the aptly named 1pminute has a promotion for calls to any UK mobiles. Simply dial its access number, 0844 721 70 30, which is billed to your home phone at 1p/min, then dial the mobile you’re calling at no further charge.
