in Credit cards
Hello i need serious help from you guys...
My first ever bank account was opened in june 2006 with abbey and now with Lloyds tsb and i got a barclays card since then and now one more credit card.
I have never been with Natwest as they are ringing me that i have got credit card which i used back in 2003 and 2004, which surprised me., I got a call from Allied International that i have to pay them for the card which i used it during that period and they telling me my name but the person date of birth is different from me.
That has happened back in 2006 august when i applied my ist credit report and it was showing on them with loads of many different account and credit card with name is same like me but dob is totally different.
I have made a correction with them , every thing was sorted and now again i am getting call which is taking my nerves out.
Please help me what should i do when i try to explain Allied Int that i am not that person you chasing but they are not listening and ask for my address.
Please help me out, I am stressed.

OK, here is what to do.
Write to them the following letter and enclose a cheque or postal order for £1.
You are asking them to prove that the debt exists and is yours.
I do not acknowledge ANY debt to your company. I require you to supply the following documentation before I will correspond further on this matter.
1. You must supply me with a true copy of the alleged agreement you refer to. This is my right under your obligation to supply a copy of the agreement under the legislation contained within s.78 (1) Consumer Credit Act 1974 (s.77 (1) for fixed sum credit) - your obligation also extends to providing a statement of account. I enclose a £1 postal order in payment of the statutory fee, PO Serial Number xxxxx.
2. A signed true copy of the deed of assignment of the above referenced agreement that you allege exists.
3. You are notified that you are obliged to supply these documents, whether you are the original creditor or not.
Non-compliance with my request is a criminal offence under the above Act and will result in a report being submitted to the relevant statutory authorities.
As you are aware, a credit agreement that is not properly documented and signed by the customer is totally unenforceable under the CCA and therefore is a complete defence to any court claim that is issued.
Take note at this stage, that any legal action you may contemplate will be both vigorously defended and contested.
