May not affect many of you (unless like me your ebaying requires you to ask a hella lot of questions) , but ebay have changed there system for asking a seller questions.
Formerly there was a limit of 30 questions in 24 hours and then you were told you couldn't ask anymore and I think it was a 12 hour wait before you could start again.
But now you reach the 30 question limit and they suspend your ebay account by changing your password. And to reactivate you need to answer some questions mothers maiden name, registered phone number, post code etc.
I've just lost one ebay account because I can't remember all the info I registered with.
And I've managed to reactivate another one but 48 hours later seemlngly I'm still not allowed to ask questions anymore as it just suspends my account every time I try to do so.
Going of to live help now but not holding my breath .....
Edit - Talked to live help and once your ebay account is suspended and you have changed your password (using forgot password feature). You have to wait 24 hours before trying to use ASQ (ask seller a question).
But if you try and ASQ again during that 24 hour period your account is suspended again and the 24 hour wait starts all over again.
Ohh and the original 30 question limit is seemingly now actually an arbitary number - seems they're using some sought of "intelligent software" to spot people asking too many questions in a short period and assuming it's a hacked account.

Any idea if this affects responding to incoming messages? I have a guide that generates around 10-15 ASQ's a day, but sometimes it can be much more, and I regularly get warning messages about being unable to reply as I am not curently involved in a transaction with them.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
