Im doing my OH a 'whiskey & wine' one. I've already bought seven miniatures (not all whiskey, but a variety of his faves plus a couple to 'try' for the first time) and i will add just a couple of small bottles of wine (175ml). In the centre of mine will be a big bag/box of wine gums (his fave!). But its for his birthday, not xmas. Not sure what to put in the bottom though, i was trying to think of an alternative to shredded/tissue paper.
