Ford Fiesta Electrics
Help please
My son has a T reg Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec. Since having a jump start a couple of days ago his speedo has stopped working and the needle has become jammed at the far end of the dial. He has booked a full diagnostic test with the main dealers but would like, if possible, some advance information of what the problem may be. All other electrics appear to be working OK.
Could the fact that the earth jump lead was connected directly to his battery rather than to the car body have caused this problem or is that of no relevance
Thanks in advance for any info
