Think they mean this guitar has been discussed before, at different prices of course.

  • Being completely clueless regarding guitars find the need to ask why is this one better than the Grey or Sunburst coloured models?
The photos look identical (colour aside) but description is much more detailed.
Sorry to be so instrumentally ignorant :o
  • Shame this doesn't come in pink!!
My daughter is requesting a pink guitar for the third year running. We have avoided buying her one until now as we were hoping it was just a whim but it might be third time lucky- only problem is we have absolutely no idea what we are looking at it could say anything and we would believe it- Any ideas on what would be best for a 9 year old!

    Thanks in Advance

I'm not sure whether this is the same guitar as discussed on the previous thread - that one was branded "KCC", this one does not appear to have a maker's name on the headstock. It does look the same apart from that, but of course it would do as it's a copy of a Strat!
If it is the KCC one, it should be OK once you have replaced the strings with some decent ones. I bought one about 18 months ago and can't fault it for that kind of money.
As for whether the black one is any better, I suppose that depends on whether you really do believe that Clapton is God!

If your buying one make sure you get the action set. Makes a massive difference in sound quality.

How about a Squier Hello Kitty?

    http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/options.php?id=69608

Squier(which is part of Fender) make some good quality guitars at very reasonable prices. It's £134 with free delivery there, but you may even be able to get it cheaper on Ebay etc. Hope this helps :)

I would say nothing...same price, same pics etc...Shouldn't be anything different IMO. They are both £40 so I can't see there being much difference. However, you used to pay a premium for sunburst...
