I have Microsoft Works on my computer
but I needed to do my application and test for AQA in Excel. I downloaded openoffice and did it on that and sent it off but they have replied saying it says there is an error message saying it is in an unrecognisable format and they can't open it. I know I'm probably being totally dopey but please can someone help me and tell me what I have to do before I resend it ... I'm desperately trying to get accepted by them and its resting on whether I cn get this sent in tonight ....
many thanks for any help in advance

Hi,
Do a Save As rather than a Save. Choose the format of Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP (.xls).
