Credit card price match and extended warranty - does this still exist?

I have a Barclaycard and used to use the 'find a branded item at a lower price and we'll refund the difference' facility and once used the extended warranty that was offered on all purchases over £50.

The price match thingy was especially good - but Barclaycard have now stopped both of these features - does anyone know of a card that still offers a price matching feature?

Thanks

That's correct. Sorry if I wasn't being clear in my post.

If I am not mistaken, the Citi Bank Platinum (Visa) - the one with 1% cashback - also gives offers this.

Thanks for the suggested cards - good to know that the extended warranty does still exist. Grrrr at Barclaycard for downgrading their customer service. A similar facility is now on offer for £5.99 per month.

It's a shame that the pricematch factility doesn't seems to exist anywhere though - I used to use this every couple of months. I seem to remember it saved me about £500 during the course of a year.

If anyone does come across a card that still offers it I'd be greatly appreciative if they'd pass it on.

    Thanks again

Yes the barclaycard price match was very good.I now have the citi card for price matching ,but i have,nt made a claim as yet. Also this card has extended warranty as well. The big difference is the citicard can only be price matched against high street stores as opposed to internet ones.

    Cheers.

If City's customer service is anything to go by, then it's probably not even worth thinking about it!

Thanks for the advise re the Citi card - i'm not sure what you mean regarding the pricematch facility and the highstreet prices though - do you mean that they will only match highstreet prices (whether or not you an bought an item on the highstreet using your citi card) or that all internet shopping is excluded?

    Thanks

I don't remember this being advertised as part of the package, but my HSBC card came with free extended warranty. Not that I'll be using it, as I'm only using it for the 9 month interest free BT offer!
