Hubby and I are applying for a house, they say if you do not earn £15,000 then you may not be eligible.
I am self-employed but do not have accounts for two years (which they require) to prove my income. With hubby's income alone it is not £15,000 but with mine in addition it is well over.
Might they still take mine into consideration? I find it unfair that as I have not been working two years yet they will dismiss my income as with it we can clearly afford the share in the property!
I am a childminder and have a regular, steady income.
