How safe are some of these savings accounts?

Hi all, I hadn't given much thought to this until the debt crisis hit the financial markets a few weeks ago but I have an ice save account and was wondering what (if any) are the risks in having my money in this account (although I assume that the same question could be directed towards HiSave et al)? What could potentially go wrong if a credit crisis hits one of these providers or if say Landsbanki - the owners of IceSave - went into administration for any reason? How protected against a problematic Financial system are my savings and am I risking anything by having a lot of savings in this account?
Many thanks
Kirsten
