To me, without knowing the layout of your house, it sounds reasonable.

(The boiler is a decent onr, BTW)

had a quote for 7 rads and glow-worm combi £3k. RF room temp and programmer.

make sure you check the pipes will be under floorboards and ask where if any any pipes will need to be boxed in and get them to box them in.
  • Around £2800 + is reasonable these days .Part L of building regs INSIST all new heating systems now have to be "Condensing" Sedbuk A or B rated, incorporate a programmable room thermostat or programmer + room thermostat, + auto bypass valve. If boiler has anything other than standard through the wall fluing ie extended runs or vertical thru roof options its going to cost more
You must make sure your installer is including these features or you could land in trouble when you get an energy efficiency evaluation when selling your home in future

about £400 too much in my opinion, i got a baxi boiler and 7 rads for £2250 after negotiation.

get more quotes if you can.

the parts come to about £1000 and it takes about 4 days to install.

    don't be shy to negotiate.

The quote you have seems reasonable, according to the data I have you can expect to pay 2500-3000 for a new boiler + 5-8radiators in a 2 or 3 bedroom house. More details available if you are interested.
